PAKISTAN in MODERN WARFARE 2

Now if you are thinking that i am some mindless patriot who is promoting his country for no apparent reason, STOPPPP!!!!! Because Pakistan is featured in Modern Warfare 2. Yes not in single player but in multiplayer. Just have a look




Now naturally i am curious as what IW were thinking before making this map. Intrestingly most of the game was focused in Pakistan's neighborhood Afghanistan (boneyard and final mission). Due to the recent political scenarios and emerging turmoils, Paksitan must have been part of the story of MW2, which was eventually removed from the final development.
Now comes the fun part, SPECULATION as what might have been the role of Pakistan if it was featured in the game. Pure speculations people dont think i am one of Makrov's made men lolz.

--SPOILERS AHEAD--

• Terrorists might have taken hold of Pakistani nukes.
• Karachi a port city, would have been used to ship stolen nuclear assets and were transported into US by Russians.
  
• If the world was heading into the 3rd world war, PAK-CHINA relations might have come into play.
• American armies invaded Pakistan, and fighting a war to remove terrorists from Pakistan's major cities.

And as we all know a sequel is imminent, there is every possibility that Pakistan will be featured in MW3.

Maybe PRICE and SOAP MACTAVISH are hiding somewhere in PAKISTAN lolz ;-)

7year old kid made a record in Cricket07: Take note EA we still play your Cricket games

While surfing through some Pakistani forums i came across this.

Hello Guys,
My younger brother (7 years old) was Playing Cricket 07 and He made a record in Cricket 07 by dismissing one side on ''0''.. I think it's very hard for 7 years old boy. Nice efforts by this 7 years old kid!

akaIMPTRESSIONS: Its wonderful to see a fellow gamer at such young age, can do wonders. Its a clear indication how much electronic gaming has reached into our society, where other sources of entertainment are inadequate and limited. Enuff!! of the emotional chat, congrats to that young kid, i haven't met him personally or know his name, But i will soon update you with more details on who this WONDER KID is. And EA please try to make some decent cricket games with innovation and polish that we see in other sports titles like FIFA or NHL.

As you can see, Tunngle blows Hamachi out of the water. It has an interface that is a cross between Steam and Garena. It has a list of game networks that you can join and its very easy to play a game. Zero configuration which I will talk about later in this guide. It truly is the holy grail that all the hardcore PC gamers have been waiting for. Oh yea, and if a game is not on the Tunngle network, you can go to a misc network and play your game there! It has sexy written all over it.

Max Payne 3 Suffers Another Delay

Third installment now coming later next year
December 3, 2009 - 2010 is getting a little crowded for videogame releases.

Take-Two originally stated all four of its biggest 2010 titles, BioShock 2, Mafia II, Max Payne 3 and Red Dead Redemption, would see a release in the first half of 2010.

Now, that doesn't appear to be the case anymore.

In its preliminary fourth quarter results ending October 31, the company stated Max Payne 3 is now slotted for a release during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2010 (August-October).

Looks like Take-Two is setting the title up to be a top holiday release for next year.

We already knew it was coming but the OFFICIAL announcement & details are coming December 22. Dead Space sold over 1 million copies on all platforms which kinda sucks considering it is THE horror title of current generation.

Real Soldier Speaks On Modern Warfare 2 Inaccuracies

Call of Duty: MW2 is arguably one of the most realistic combat simulators available. Former Army Ranger Eddie Torres agrees that MW2 is visually stunning and at times surprisingly real. He also said the game brings a rush that is similar to the one gotten in actual combat, but the representation of combat is fairly flawed. Many of the most important scenes fall short of reality

One of the problems Torres had with the game was the realism of events in the Champaign. Although riding a helicopter through a hot combat zone might seem like a fun way to spend your Sunday afternoons, Torres has seen that situation go bad and it is not for the faint of heart, “I saw a helicopter crash and it was brutal. I want to say of 25 passengers… four might survive.” Even if you are one of the lucky survivors, permanent incapacitation and death are not far off after that. So it is safe to say that there is no way you could jump into a fire fight right after a helicopter crash.

Another interesting inaccuracy deals with night visions devices; in particular a device used by soldiers called Aviator mods. Torres said this about Infinity wards equipment choice: “rangers wouldn’t use aviator mods. We use PVS 14’s, night vision monocular. The reason is having one of your eyes adjusted to night vision gives you some kind of depth perception. [When using night vision] Things close to you look further away. Your night eye is adjusted to dept and your night vision eye lets you see what is around you. If it came to an emergency situation where you engaged in a [lit] room, you would still have your other eye.”

Although Torres took issue with the game scenarios and equipment choices he did not have much to say in terms of gameplay. However, one of the few gameplay gaff s that stuck out to Torres dealt with reloading. Spam reloading is rampant in MW2, and Torres would definitely agree that always having a ready weapon is a plus, but “in a real life scenario, you aren’t going to reload every three shots.” Soldiers are trained to be aware of how much ammo they have left and to conserve every round.

Many people will never know the feeling of being in a full-out war, and that is the reason MW2 has been so successful in bringing the desperation of real combat into the safety of our living rooms, where death isn’t just a reason to use the restroom and crack another soda.

Postcard scenery and a couple of white-knuckle chase sequences make this single-player level one of the best non-Crytek Crysis experiences. Both the smart design and added touches like cut-scenes and objectives make it feel almost like a scenario that was cut from the original game. Play this first, then move on to the other guys.


Strider Mountain (Half-Life 2)
Crossing Half-Life 2 with an assault on K2 seems to be the motivation behind Strider Mountain. This single-player total conversion in development sees Gordon Freeman scaling a 30,000-foot summit to demolish a Combine factory cranking out a never-ending stream of Striders. Completion of the mod is a little way off, although the all-new arctic maps and innovative plot should make the final game more than worth the wait.

Crashed is one of the best solo maps out there, even if it's somewhat short and sweet. Creator Killuminati91 has put together a solid jungle showdown with nanosuit-wearing North Koreans and sharks.
